The young students of Quantum, following the beautiful tradition established many years ago, have started this year with victories as well, enriching their olympiad arsenal with new medals. From January 10 to 15 this year, the Zhautykov Olympiad was held in Almaty, with about 60 teams from 16 countries and independent participants — around 700 students in total. Gold medals were awarded to: Alex Grigoryan, a 12th-grade student of the IB Diploma Programme — in Informatics, Hayk Manukyan, a 10th-grade student of the Lyceum — in Mathematics. Silver medal: Tigran Khakheyan, a 10th-grade student of the Lyceum — in Mathematics. Bronze medals: Edgar Mikaelyan, an 11th-grade student of the IB Diploma Programme — in Mathematics, Arman Khachatryan, a 10th-grade student of the Lyceum — in Mathematics, Samvel Harutyunyan, a 12th-grade student of the Lyceum — in Physics.
