On January 13, the Reverend Archimandrite Ignatius Malkhasyan, Abbot of St. Shoghakat Monastery in Etchmiadzin, performed the blessing ceremony of the new building of "Quant" College. From January 13 to 19, four out of six "Quant" students who participated in the 12th International Zhautykov Olympiad in Almaty, Kazakhstan, returned with victories: Ashot Matevosyan won a gold medal in physics, while Edward Khalafyan, Sevak Abrahamyan, and Alexander Karalyan earned bronze medals in mathematics. In January, the college hosted Alexei Semyonov, Rector of Moscow State Pedagogical University and Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Education. In February 2016, based on the ranking results of Armenian general education institutions for the 2014-2015 academic year, "Quant" College was recognized as the winner among the republic's non-state schools. On May 20, the concluding solemn ceremony dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the college took place in the Great Hall of Yerevan State University. For their significant contribution to education, several teachers were awarded gold medals, certificates of honor, and letters of appreciation from the RA Ministry of Education and Science and YSU. "Quant" College was awarded the "Coat of Arms of Yerevan" by the Yerevan Municipality, the "Viktor Ambartsumian" commemorative medal by the RA National Academy of Sciences, and the RA Presidential Award for global contribution to the IT sector. On June 10, RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan visited the college. IB Diploma Program graduate Lusia Manukyan earned the maximum score of 45 points in her IB final exams. On July 13, RA Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan visited the "Orbit" military-sports camp of the college. Quant students participated in international Olympiads in physics, biology, informatics, and astronomy, winning three medals: Ashot Matevosyan (bronze in physics), Alexander Karalyan (bronze in biology), and Areg Grigoryan (bronze in astronomy). On November 13, RA President Serzh Sargsyan visited the college.

In January, Albert Gevorgyan, a student of the school, participated in the Zhautikov International Olympiad and showed brilliant results in mathematics, receiving a silver medal. Various events, meetings, and lectures are organized during the academic year ahead of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. As a result of the quadrilateral memorandum signed between the RA Ministry of Education and Science, VivaCell-MTS, Synopsis Armenia, and Unicomp, the school will start teaching the professional subjects of "Microelectronics", "Fundamentals of Telecommunications", and "Information Technologies" in the new academic year. In May, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia, Petr Mikiska, visited the school. The school's students are reaching new heights in international Olympiads. Ashot Matevosyan won a bronze medal at the Physics Olympiad in India, and a certificate of merit at the Astronomy Olympiad in Indonesia. Albert Gevorgyan returned with bronze medals from the International Mathematics Olympiad in Thailand and the Informatics Olympiad in Kazakhstan. Eduard Grigoryan also won a bronze medal at the Informatics Olympiad. Two of the three students representing Armenia for the first time at the International Geography Olympiad, Silva Hakobyan and Marianna Ghazaryan, are students of “Quantum”. In July, an international summer school is organized at the “Ughetsir” camp of the college for students studying under the MB “Diploma” program, in which students from the Chinese International School in Singapore, Yerevan A. Shirakatsi Lyceum and “Quantum” College participate. In August, the school is visited by the world-famous American astronaut Buzz Aldrin and representatives of the Global Flight organization. The meeting is also attended by the US Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia Richard M. Mills Jr. Vitush Sargsyan, Head of the Chemistry Department of the Quantum School, is awarded the title of Honored Pedagogue of the Republic of Armenia. Arman Ghazaryan and Lusya Manukyan, 12th grade students of the MB Diploma program, are awarded the annual award of the President of the Republic of Armenia in the field of IT. The four best winners of the Quantum-2015 competition for gifted children are awarded scholarships from the Koghb Foundation.

History teacher Mikael Malkhasyan, edited by Seyran Suvaryan, head of the geography department, published a scientific article on the vision of the assessment system at “Quant” College. Shushan Toneyan, a graduate of the college’s MB “Diploma” program, was admitted to Oxford University free of charge. In March, physics teacher Bella Davtyan was awarded the “Gold Commemorative Medal” of the RA Ministry of Education and Science. Eduard Grigoryan performed brilliantly in the “Spring – 2014” programming competition, where students from leading universities of the republic participate, taking third place. In April, “Quant” participates in the 14th international exhibition “Education and Career Expo 2014”. US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia John Heffern visits the college. In May, the “Gifted Children Competition” was held, the top four winners of which became the first scholarship recipients of the “Koghb” Foundation. With the support of the “Quantum” administration, the regional representative of the “International Baccalaureate” organization, Ake Sorman, arrives in Armenia. Within the framework of the meeting with the Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, issues of recognition of the MB graduation diploma in the Republic of Armenia, introduction of the MB educational program in general education institutions, as well as coordination with Armenian educational programs are discussed. In July, at the 55th International Mathematics Olympiad held in South Africa, the college student Albert Gevorgyan is awarded a bronze medal, and at the 26th Informatics Olympiad held in Taiwan, Eduard Grigoryan is awarded a silver medal. The international conference of the “Mediterranean Institute of Fundamental Physics” was held in Stepanakert. In September, the “Quantum” elementary school opens in the new building of the college. Current and former Quantum students are winners in three categories of the President's most prestigious IT awards ceremony. The "Best Student" category was won by Gor Piliposyan, a graduate of the "Quant" school in 2013-2014, a student of Yerevan State University, and Serine Nazaryan, a 9th grade student of the school; the "Best Bachelor" category was awarded to Alexander Chatrchyan, a graduate of the 2009-2010 academic year, a student of Yerevan State University; and Artavazd Minasyan, a graduate of the 2003-2004 academic year, a graduate of Yerevan State University, won the "Best Postgraduate" category.

Shushan Toneyan and Vahagn Gevorgyan are awarded bronze medals at the 24th International Biology Olympiad held in Bern, the capital of Switzerland. Cooperation is established with the US and French embassies in Armenia within the framework of the “Fulbright English teaching assistant” and “Langue et civilization française” programs, respectively. The first graduates of the International Baccalaureate “Diploma” program brilliantly pass the final exams and receive invitations to study at a number of leading universities around the world. Araksya Simonyan, a history and social studies teacher at the “Quant” school, is awarded the “Vazgen Sargsyan” gold medal of the Ministry of Defense for her contribution to educating the younger generation in a national-patriotic spirit. The school’s director, Robert Vardanyan, participates in the international conference “The 21st Century Educational Environment: How Not to Get Lost There” held in Moscow.

At the 44th International Chemistry Olympiad held in Washington, D.C. on July 21-30, “Quant” students Alexey Galoyan and David Chitchyan were awarded bronze medals. For his greatest contribution to the field of education and science, Vitush Sargsyan, Head of the Chemistry Department of “Quant” College, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, is awarded the Gold Commemorative Medal of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia. The Publishing House of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin publishes the 2nd, revised edition of the monograph “Oshakan” by “Quant” College teacher and YSU SSS President Mikael Malkhasyan. Graduates of the College Vahe Galstyan, Hayk Saribekyan and Arshavir Ghahramanyan record their next brilliant successes in the international arena. By passing the relevant exams and receiving very high grades, they were granted the right to study at leading universities in the world (Vahen - Princeton University in the USA, Hayk - Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Arshavir - University College London...).

On March 16-20, in Marino (Rome), the director of the Quantum College R. Vardanyan, as a member of the Mediterranean Institute of Fundamental Physics, participates in a conference organized by the institute. During the conference, he also has separate meetings with members of the institute's scientific council. On April 11-15, Mikhail Malkhasyan, an "Honorary Student" of the Quantum College and a student of the Faculty of History of Yerevan State University, leaves for Moscow at the invitation of M. Lomonosov Moscow State University. There, he participated in the "History of Russia" subsection of the "History" section of the "Lomonosov-2011" International Conference of Young Scientists as the main speaker. It is worth noting that among the 165 participants in the "History" section, the "Honorary Student" of Quantum was the only participant from Armenia. The school's physics teacher Ishkhan Harutyunyan is participating in the international physics teacher seminar held in Trieste (Italy) from April 27 to May 3. On April 14, the school receives a certificate and becomes the first and only Armenian school in the world to be a member of the most powerful international organization in the field of general education, the IB (International Baccalaureate).

Of the 7 medals brought to Armenia from international Olympiads, 3 were awarded to the students of "Quantum". Al. Chatrchyan and H. Tepanyan won bronze medals at the 22nd International Olympiad in Informatics, and V. Gevorgyan won a bronze medal at the 15th International Olympiad in Astronomy. In February, Yvette Gattas, a consultant to the Canadian government CESO program, visited the school. The goal of the program was to develop a FUNDRAISING program for the dissemination of the LOGO programming environment in Armenian schools and the acquisition of a localization license. The best graduate of the school, Vahe Musoyan, is recognized as the best student at Stanford University. In this regard, the director of the school, R. Vardanyan, is invited to the USA. The RA Government Decrees of 08.04.2010. N 13 and 20.05.2010. According to the protocol decisions N19, the college begins to implement 2 bold programs. One concerns the teaching and introduction of computer skills in elementary schools, the other - the introduction of the first Armenian-language learning environment Logo in the general education sector. Head of the Department of Informatics A. Darpasyan is awarded the "Movses Khorenatsi" medal by the President of the Republic of Armenia.

Hayk Saribekyan and Hayk Galstyan won bronze medals at the International Olympiads in Mathematics and Physics, respectively. Hayk Tepanyan returned with a gold medal from the Astronomy Olympiad held in China (whereas Armenia and India won two gold medals each, even ahead of representatives of Russia and other countries). By order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia and within the framework of the World Bank loan program, the school develops and distributes to schools in Armenia the first electronic textbooks in English and Russian for grades 6-9 in Armenia. Barbara Old, a volunteer consultant of the CESO organization, visits the school. In November, the school participates in the EXPO exhibition and is awarded a special prize. The Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, A. Ashotyan, visits the school.

The school's students reach new heights in international Olympiads. Hayk Saribekyan receives a bronze medal at the International Astronomy Olympiad. 15-year-old Hayk is recognized as the absolute winner of the 5th All-Armenian Contest of Programmers Under 30. Martun Karapetyan receives a bronze medal at the International Olympiad in Informatics. Fred Speaken and Joan Speaken, volunteer consultants of the Canadian CESO program, visit the school. F. Speaken is preparing the school's inclusion in the IB (The International Baccalaureate) system, and J. Speaken is developing a program to improve the school's sanitary and hygienic conditions and discipline. In November, teachers and students representing the school visit "Rinman" College in Sweden, as a result of which the bilateral visit agreement is ratified.

08.07.2020 Within the framework of the Canadian government's CESO program, the organization's volunteer consultant Fred Speaken visits the school. As a result, a project is developed to properly organize the internal management of "Quant". In March, the regional director of the IBO (The International Baccalaureate Organization) Nelida Antuna Baragno visits "Quant". Having become acquainted with the educational experience of the school, she suggests including the school in their educational program. In April, Gayane Gasparyan, a physics teacher from the "Rinman" College in Eskilstuna, Sweden, and Oli Grahed, a biology teacher, visit the school. A cooperation agreement is signed between the two parties on the exchange of educational programs and professional personnel. "Quant" student Martun Karapetyan in informatics, and Arshavir Ghahramanyan in chemistry, are awarded bronze medals in the international Olympiads.

With the support of the "Enterprise Incubator" Foundation, the "Quantum" summer camp is organizing a summer school of informatics-2006, in which students from different countries (Russia, Georgia, Lebanon), as well as from Artsakh, participate. The goal of the program was to promote the use of information technologies in the educational sphere. "Quantum" is visited by the Minister of Education and Science S. Yeritsyan to get acquainted with the achievements of the school. "Quantum" celebrates the 15th anniversary of its founding. By the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia dated 12.09.2006, R. Vardanyan was awarded the title of Honored Pedagogue of the Republic of Armenia. The school's chess team is recognized as the regional chess Olympic winner. "Quantum" student D. Episkoposyan is awarded a gold medal at the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad.

The Olympic team led by Armen Oskanyan and Sergey Nersisyan participates in the International Olympiad in Astronomy in Crimea. "Quantum" student Tigran Nazaryan wins a gold medal, and Artak Pepoyan wins a bronze medal.

Students from the Republic of Armenia are participating in the International Olympiad in Astronomy, Chemistry, Informatics, Mathematics, and Physics. 10 of them are Quantum students, who have won 11 awards brought to the republic. Quantum students V. Musoyan and S. Gevorgyan returned from the 15th International Olympiad in Informatics in the USA with III degree (bronze) awards. At the 8th International Olympiad in Astronomy held in Stockholm, our students Zhirayr Avetisyan and Mkrtich Soghomonyan earned gold medals (I degree), and Artavazd Minasyan won a bronze medal. Armenia and India were the leaders in the number of medals won compared to other countries.

The school is visited by the Rector of YSU, Academician R. Martirosyan, Vice-Rector, Academician E. Chubaryan, Deans of Faculties, Professors Y. Vardanyan and S. Harutyunyan. For winning the City Olympiad for the fifth time in a row, the school is awarded the “Grand Prize” of the Yerevan Municipality. The Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan visits the school. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of “Quantum”, the school is visited by responsible employees of the Ministry of Education and Science, representatives of international organizations, and heads of companies working in the field of new technologies. For outstanding achievements in the field of education and on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the school’s foundation, R. Vardanyan is awarded the highest award of YSU, the gold medal. The Council for Supporting the Development of Information Technologies was established by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia A. On April 6, under the leadership of Margaryan, the Aragats program for the application of information technologies and teaching informatics in general education schools, developed at the college, was approved. Sergey Shahverdyan was recognized as the absolute winner of the Republican Olympiad.

Quantum collage student Mkrtich Soghomonyan is recognized as the absolute winner of the Republican Olympiads of schoolchildren in the 2001 academic year and is awarded a special prize from the Ministry of Education and Science. Quantum collage was awarded a special diploma from the Ministry of Education and Science for showing exceptional results in the Republican Olympiads of schoolchildren. For showing the best result in the Republican Olympiad, the school is awarded a certificate of honor from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, and its student Mkrtich Soghomonyan is awarded a special prize. School student Sargis Haytsoyan is awarded a diploma of the winner of the Mendeleev International Olympiad. Vahagn Yeghikyan, Zhirayr Avetisyan and Mkrtich Soghomonyan win a brilliant victory in the 6th International Olympiad in astronomy. Teachers and students of the school celebrate the opening of the Quantum Ughetsir camp.
